Division of Studies
The Director of the Division of Studies, Luis Rodríguez Neira, has a degree in Business Administration and B.A. in Economy of the University of Concepción, and a Master of Arts in Economics of the ILADES/ Georgetown University. He boasts 16 years professional experience in studies and project evaluation in regulated economic areas. In FONASA he held the posts of Director of the Departmanet of Studies and International Relations and Director of Departament of Commercialization; he was health economics consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank and the World Bank in different Latin American countries; and economist of the Department of Evaluation, Control and Claims of the Public Defender’s Office. He works for the SCJ since October of 2005.
His main responsabilities are:

Collect statistics and develop studies to create a knowledge base about the gaming industry with the purpose of assuring a proper operation and promoting transparency. He also advises the Superintendent in technical analysis of permit applications and in the correction of casino projects.
